Express Manufacturing, Inc. Adds Capacity

Santa Ana, CA – August 4, 2010 – Express Manufacturing, Inc. (EMI) has been a leader in providing Electronics Manufacturing Services worldwide. In response to customer demands, EMI continues to invest in production equipments to increase operational efficiency. Previously, EMI outsourced tasks such as component coating and certain PCB labeling. With new equipments, these tasks can be performed by the same production line. SMT capabilities have also been added for both facilities (USA and China). Besides new equipments, both EMI facilities have increased staff in operation and engineering to support customer demands. With these new investments, EMI is well positioned for future growth.

Two other services proved to be helpful to customers are the Design for Excellence (DFX) and New Product Introduction (NPI) services offered by EMI. As more and more customers are launching new products, they come to a realization that they need help in transferring new designs to the production lines. By working with EMI, customers receive step-by-step supports from the experienced EMI teams. By eliminating design defects upfront and focusing on product manufacturability, customers are able to reduce both the debugging costs and time-to-market. To further educate customers, EMI has been active in providing educational seminars. These efforts also pay off for EMI. As customers are able to provide DFX products, EMI is able to reduce turn-around time and increase customer satisfaction - a true win-win partnership.
